DORM TO DORM BARAAT
April 2017-we celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. It’s no different from the first “Dorm to dorm Baraat”, just that we have grown older, but, we have done so together. The excitement is the same-Love ever increasing. Over the past ten years, life has not changed much for us, we still enjoy the endless string of movies on weekends, going out for long walks and on top of that, each other’s jokes. Just that now we have a little angel, whom we call Ishana and she is part of all that we do. She is the most adorable daughter in the world.
Ashish: “Sunayana will always remain Chamki to me-she is the best that could have happened to me-I love her more with each passing day. I love the kid in her that is still so full of cutely weird ideas-sometimes scary-like singing at full volume on a night flight; dancing by the pool in our complex (when she knows my hands and feet can hardly move together); buying a surprise cake for our anniversary (and asking me to choose the same); playing poker at 12- just the two of us; and actually exchanging money or making ten cookies after a whole day’s kadi mehnat. I love you Chamki, for all this and more!!”
Sunayana: “Ashish will always remain my pillar of strength, Mr. Reliable, come what may. Just like how he was ten years back. Does everything to bring a smile on my face. With him by my side, I have no fears. I never ever thought I could love anyone so much ever. Tujh mein rab dikhta hai :)”
