Sankar Krishnan and Divya Krishnan were good friends from the first year of PGP. They were in different sections, but found they had immense love for reading. Their friendship deepened with a fun, even if badly planned, trip to Mt Abu with friends; and as they worked together on a challenging Independent Project in banking in the second year. Heated debates and endless discussions later, each realised they had found their soul mate, and decided to walk together down the road.
Passing out in 1992, Sankar was one of the first hires of McKinsey from campus, and went on to become a partner at the firm; Divya joined SBI Mutual Fund, where she became the Head of Investments. They have a lovely 17-year-old daughter Nayanika, whom they dote upon. In 2005, both decided to leave corporate life
and work together in the non-profit sector. A true partnership.
