Mayuri (D1, Purda) and Sid (D18, Pota) are from the Class of 2001 and were both in Section C. Their first interaction on campus was when they walked down the ramp together during T-Nite. Despite that brief interaction, they barely spoke until the second term when they did a joint WAC assignment. Sparks eventually did fly on the turn of the millennium before and after the ramp party at the end of the second term. Sid proposed on January 1, 2000, and the rest, as they say, is history.
The couple went on to get married right after graduation in 2001 and last year celebrated 15 years together (officially)! They now have two kids, Ananya (9) and Krish (7). Mayuri and Sid both work for Nestlé and have been based in Switzerland since 2014. In their spare time, they love to travel and hope to explore at least half the countries in the world before they hang in their boots.
