What they don’t teach you at Harvard….
…Or at any business school, for that matter. But it gets taught, nevertheless. Lessons in mis(s)management included. That is what we discovered. We entered the portals of Vastrapur with best intentions and somehow got studying other alliances. Group assignments turned out a convenient structure in the education system as it gave net-working opportunities and thanks to other group members we could get our grades.

Business education has its own hazards for students we decided, and this was tying a knotty one.
We also believe our PGP batch has the claim to have the highest number of couples who have had mergers in real life and lived happily ever after. So it sort of added up.

Surely not correct if we stopped with this. Is there any way we can thank the Institute for the line-up of faculty? Our salutations to them, they are equally a ‘lifetime achievement’.
It’s four decades since then. Our own careers in Banking and Finance have been very satisfying and both of us are currently on consulting assignments and also serve as visiting faculty with various IIMs.
Now we have two kids, both well-entrenched in corporate engagements. Anagha is in the UK with TCS and Abhinav with E & Y in Bengaluru. Abhinav is married to Kaavya
Behind every happy couple there is an IIM.
