TANU SINGH & ABHINAV JAIN (PGP 2011)
IIMA holds a very special place in our hearts as not only did we receive phenomenal education but also met each other and embarked on a life-long personal journey. Two years spent in IIMA are full of happy memories, many funny incidents and some nervous moments.
Amidst the very hectic schedule and hustle-bustle of campus life, we would try and find time to sneak out of campus, exploring cafes as well as the city. Once we stepped out for a quick bite and ended up on an auto-ride all the way down to Gandhinagar and back. Another time, we ended up riding uptoGandhinagar in an auto chasing a bus, as we missed the bus for an off-campus LEM class. Our enthusiasm to discover new cafes and explore the city at midnight still continues in Mumbai.
In a different incident, Tanu recalls, “Abhinav would always insist on stepping out for lunch whenever my favourite dish would be on the menu in the mess. Couple of times, I brushed it off as a mere coincidence. Until, one day Abhinav himself proclaimed that he very strongly disliked it.” Never has the importance of prior due-diligence been more underscored.
The two years on campus whizzed past in a flash as the schedules ensured that there was never a dull moment.
