Dear Alumni,

Greetings!

I am excited to present to you the latest issue of The WIMWIAN, with the cover theme of Probity in Management. In my opinion, the prestige of our institute is not just because of the achievements of its alumni, but also because of the values they embody. For decades, IIMA has instilled values of leadership, honesty, and integrity in its students, which is a crucial ingredient that makes our alumni shine wherever they go.

The stories in this issue illustrate how rare these qualities are as many of our alumni faced backlash and harassment due to their honesty and ethics. However, as they say Satyameva Jayate – Truth always triumphs, and our alumni, despite the challenges, end up redeemed. We hope you are inspired by these stories as we were.

This issue also contains write-ups about the eight reunions held at the institute this year. The stories and accompanying photos are proof of how much our batchmates missed the institute and how much they enjoyed meeting their classmates and professors.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the inaugural Global Alumni Meet (GLAM) 2024, to be held at the institute on December 11 and 12, 2024.

This is the first reunion of its kind, which will be held across the batches and programmes, and is an opportunity for our alumni to meet each other, reminisce, and have fun. We have designed various engaging workshops, seminars, and events which we will share more about in the coming weeks. Please register as soon as the registrations open, as there are limited seats available.
