Shreya Deb invests in organizations that create economic opportunity and improve the livelihoods of millions of people living at the base of the pyramid. As part of Omidyar Network’s India-based team, she primarily supports investments across the Consumer Internet & Mobile, Education, and Financial Inclusion initiatives, playing an important role in helping to structure and manage the firm’s for-profit investments and non-profit grants in India. Shreya joined Omidyar Network in April 2011 after spending four years at global management consultancy The Boston Consulting Group. As a consultant she developed strategies to drive growth and enhance operational efficiencies for clients across a range of sectors, including insurance, industrial goods, and medical devices.
