(31 December 1947- 24 July 2024)
Niranjan Kaveeshvar passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024, surrounded by his loved
ones. Born in Indore, he was a man of quiet strength and remarkable intellect. He earned
his Master’s degree from PUSA Institute, Delhi, graduating with a Gold Medal, and later
completed his PGP (SPA) 1973. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nisha, his partner and the light of his life for fifty years.
During his days at IIM, he was known for being friendly, focused on his studies, and highly articulate—a combination that earned him the admiration and respect of his peers and professors alike.
He had a distinguished career in the finance sector. After years of dedicated service, he chose
early retirement to passionately embrace a life filled with spirituality —pursuits that nurture
his curious mind and gentle spirit.
He was lovingly known as “Kaka,” a beacon of simplicity, discipline, and contentment. His
life was a testament to the profound beauty of humility and grace, creating an aura of peace
and harmony wherever he went. True to his generous nature, even in death, he chose to donate his body for medical research—a final act of selflessness. The simplicity with which he lived and the dignity with which faced his final moments showed us that he was, indeed, “A Buddha in life and a Buddha in death.”
His presence will be deeply missed, his memory cherished, and his love held close in our hearts always.
