Synchrony 2026 – Jaipur

Synchrony 2026, organised by the IIMA Alumni Association Jaipur Chapter, was held on 24 May 2026 at Ashok Club, Jaipur, and brought together close to 50 alumni, students, and family members in a vibrant, high-energy evening. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Shantikam Hazarika (PGP 1971), whose presence set a warm, reflective tone for the gathering, and was anchored by Mr. Amit Agrawal (PGPX 2023), Treasurer, Jaipur Chapter. Chapter officebearers Mr. O.P. Agrawal (President), Dr. Deepak Yaduvanshi (Vice President) and Mr. Rajat Bohra (Secretary) shared thoughtful remarks for current and incoming students, speaking about careers, character and the responsibility of carrying forward the IIMA legacy. This was the largest Jaipur chapter meeting in recent years, and the room reflected a rare mix of batches—from the early 1970s to the most recent graduating cohorts—along with PGP1 and PGP2 students about to begin or continue their campus journey.

The evening was lifted by a soulful music segment by noted Rajasthan singer Mr. Gaurav Bhutt, turning the event into a true music gala. Adding to the experience, Damn Good Coffee came on board as Event Partner, delighting participants with curated coffee goodies and reinforcing the informal, conversational flavour of the night. Participant reflections captured the spirit of the evening:

D. S. Bhandari (PGP 1970): Complimented the organising committee for a “very nice programme” and especially for mobilising such a large gathering, noting how valuable it was to interact with young professionals and wishing for such get-togethers more often.

Rakesh Kumar (EEP 2025): Travelled from Vadodara for his first Jaipur chapter event and described the interactions with industry veterans as “fantastic”, highly insightful and memorable—especially meeting alumni from the institute’s first batches.

Yogendra Sharma (BPGP 1): Called it “delightful serendipity” to align his visit from Dubai with

Synchrony, describing the event as a vibrant confluence of veterans, young professionals and students, and a powerful platform to deepen his connection with the wider IIMA community in Jaipur and Rajasthan.

Rishabh Mathur (EEP 2025): Highlighted that strong networks empower individuals, businesses and communities, calling Synchrony 2026 a wonderfully organised evening of inspiring conversations and strong ecosystems.

Yogesh Sharma (PGPX 2019): “Felt privileged to hear senior alumni—especially from the 1970s—share not just career journeys but perspectives on life, health, relationships and long-term choices, alongside the fresh aspirations of younger batches.”

Prince (PGP 1): Shared that, while still an intern, dining with upcoming students and listening to stories from 1970s alumni was “not on the cards”, and that making juniors “fear Term 1” while swapping professor anecdotes made the evening uniquely enjoyable.

Prernaa Kanodia (PGP 2026): “What began as a customary alumni engagement soon became a thoughtful convergence of the IIMA Jaipur fraternity across generations, marked by intellectual warmth, humility and a shared commitment to Jaipur’s broader ecosystem. Amit’s seamless and inclusive stewardship stood out throughout the

evening.”

Overall, Synchrony 2026 reaffirmed the strength of the IIM Ahmedabad network in Jaipur—bridging generations, industries and geographies, and setting a solid foundation for many more such chapter initiatives in the years ahead.
