The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad invites nominations for its highest alumni honour: the IIM Ahmedabad Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA).
Since our founding, IIMA graduates have fundamentally shaped global corporate landscapes, catalysed pioneering entrepreneurial ventures, driven vital public policy, and led transformative social movements. The DAA explicitly celebrates individual alumni who exhibit exceptional lifelong achievement, a profound commitment to ethical leadership, and sustained contributions that serve as a force for good in society.

Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility: All graduates who have completed a long-duration program at IIMA (e.g., PGP, FABM/ABM/SPA, PGPX, FPM/PhD), preferably before 2011, are eligible.
- Nominators: Nominations may be submitted by Batch representatives (SAC Coordinator or anyone appointed by the batch) or Chapter representatives (President or Secretary of the Chapter EC). When a nomination is being submitted by a batch or chapter representative, it is preferable to provide details of the process followed by the batch or the chapter to finalise the names of the nominees. Nominations may also be submitted by any IIMA alumnus, current faculty member, or former faculty member. Self-nominations for the DAA are not accepted.
- Deadline: All nominations must be completed via the online nomination portal by August 31, 2026 (23:59:59 IST)
How to Submit a Nomination
- Step 1: Visit the Alumniconnect DAA Nomination Portal. Click on “Log in to Nominate.”
- Step 2: Click on the “Using Email OTP” option. (Using your registered* email id at Alumni database on which you received this email)
- Make sure the OTP is not landing up in your spam folder.
- Step 3: Post-login, submit your nomination(s). You may nominate up to five alumni, based on your preference.
