Anurag Tiwari, an alumnus of the Accelerated General Management Program (AGMP 2019- 2020) at IIM Ahmedabad, has been appointed Chief Academic Officer (CAO) at Physics Wallah (PW), a leading NSE-listed edtech organisation.
With a career spanning academic leadership and education, Anurag has worked extensively at the intersection of pedagogy, academic excellence, organisational leadership, and large-scale student outcomes. His transition into a CXO leadership role marks a significant milestone in his professional journey.
Anurag credits his year-long AGMP experience at IIMA as an important contributor to this evolution. The programme strengthened his perspectives on strategy, business leadership and organisational decision-making, complementing his academic expertise with a broader understanding of enterprise leadership.
His leadership mandate is centred on building a high-quality, outcome-driven academic ecosystem that creates meaningful value for students while supporting the organisation’s long-term growth and financial sustainability.
