Synopsis
Do you seek the inner silence where bliss resides? Have you been meditating without really progressing as much as you desire? Would you like to get acquainted with the language of the Masters? Do you wish to know the steps on the spiritual ladder that lead to liberation? Would you like to learn the identity of the boatman who takes you along, birth after birth? Do you want to find out why the gods have a clock-tower in their town square, but no clock?
Do you ever wonder why Rabiya al-Addawiya of Basra wanted to set fire to heaven and put out the fires of hell? Or, what is Zarathustra’s Asha road, and how does it relate to you?
If you do, this book is for you.
From this perspective, when you see religion in the rear view mirror, you, too, can say, “Not for me pilgrimages galore, or visits to seers door to door. Wherever I look there I am. My holy land is where I am.”
