The IIMA Endowment Fund (IIMAEF) has appointed Sucheta Mahapatra (PGP 2006) as its Chief Executive Officer.
An accomplished business leader with extensive experience in building and scaling technology-enabled businesses, Sucheta most recently served as Managing Director – India at Branch International, where she successfully led the organisation to profitability and expanded the business into new areas of growth. Prior to this, she was Chief Operating Officer at WeWork India and held leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, including Head of Strategy and Business Head for its Internet of Things (IoT) business. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Bain & Company, advising clients across industries and building high-performing teams.
An alumna of IIMA (PGP 2006) and a gold medallist in Engineering, Sucheta currently serves on the Board of Governors of IIM Sambalpur. She is also a recipient of IIMA’s Young Alumni Achiever Award and the SKOCH Fintech Woman Leader of the Year Award.
The Institute warmly welcomes Sucheta to her new role and looks forward to her leadership in advancing the IIMA Endowment Fund’s vision of building a stronger culture of philanthropy and alumni engagement.
