It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mr Babulal Yadav (PGP 1974), an esteemed alumnus of IIMA. He passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 75 years.
Mr Yadav is survived by his wife Kamal, his daughters Abhilasha and Mamta, and his son Harsh.
Mr Yadav’s batchmates remember him as being ever-smiling, friendly, and helpful. They call him the anchor of many batch reunions held at Ahmedabad. He was deeply passionate about Yoga and Homeopathy and loved driving and travelling.
Mr Yadav had an illustrious career after graduating from the institute and had worked with Arvind Group, Gujarat Positra Port Infrastructure, Essar Group, among a few. He had also served as the CEO of EcoReps and TheStartupExpress.
Mr Yadav was actively involved in IIMA’s alumni activities and had served as the President of IIMA Alumni Association, Ahmedabad Chapter in the past.
We are grateful for his contributions and the positive mark he left on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
