Alumnus Sameep Jain, Founder of the management consulting and advisory firm Black Brix®, has received the Emerging Maritime Leader Award at the Economic Times Global Ports & Shipping Awards 2026, in recognition of his contribution to India’s maritime sector.
Over the years, Black Brix® has had the opportunity to advise on more than 200 projects valued at over ₹1,40,000 crore across Maritime & Ports, Energy, Logistics, Aviation, Real Estate, Tourism, Horticulture, and Industrial development. In the past three years, the firm supported over 90% of non-major port transactions in India, working alongside the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Port Authorities, State Maritime Boards, and other stakeholders on public-private partnership initiatives.
The firm has also begun exploring new ways of working with technology. It recently launched BlackBrix.AI, an AI-powered platform offering research, document intelligence, data analytics, and industry insights.
