Synopsis
Most digital transformations don’t fail at the beginning. They fail after go-live, when the original purpose is forgotten and the system becomes just another box to check. This book challenges that narrative. It argues that transformation truly begins after implementation, when organizations have the opportunity to unlock the hidden potential lying dormant in their ERP systems.
Drawing from decades of consulting experience, the authors introduce the SEER framework: Sense, Evaluate, Execute, and Retrospect. This practical approach is designed to help organizations reclaim value, not just deploy technology. Through compelling insights, tools, and real-world stories, the book shows how tiny transformations (small but focused changes) can create powerful ripple effects. From Toyota’s culture of Kaizen to Nokia’s reinvention and the story behind the blue LED, it reveals how subtle shifts can lead to major breakthroughs.
Written for consultants, business leaders, and ERP users, this book helps readers recognize the signals within their systems, close performance gaps, and move from routine operations to meaningful value creation. Whether you work in HR, Finance, Procurement, or Technology, this guide will help you make the most of your existing investments and connect digital systems back to business purpose. Small changes, applied wisely, can create lasting impact.
