The IIMAAA Delhi – NCR Chapter has organized several alumni events during the past few months, which had facilitated interaction among alumni from across the batches and current students in some events.

Synchrony 2018 – Delhi, May 19 2018 Like every year, Synchrony 2018 was organized in May, earlier this year with an aim to facilitate interaction among the students and alumni from across batches. Held at National Sports Club of India (NSCI), Delhi, our Sponsors Amplus, also gave a gift to each participant at the end of the event.

Attended by about 150 persons, the event saw representation from across the batches and enthusiastic participation from the first-year and second-year students. Not only did it provide an opportunity for the current students to learn from the diverse and varied experiences of the alumni, but it also provided an opportunity to the alumni to reconnect with their friends and batch-mates during the event.

Alumni meet – Delhi, June 29 2018 The Delhi chapter has reinitiated its regular Essex farms alumni meet which was organized after a long hiatus in June last year. With representation from across the batches, right from 1969 to 2016 for PGP and PGPX batches, the event was attended by about a total of 35 alumni. This is planned as a regular event with the next edition planned later this month.

Interacting across the batches, IIM AAA Delhi meet

Alumni Meet – Gurgaon, July 27 2018 The chapter organized another alumni meet in Gurgaon, which was also well attended with around 35 alumni from across the batches. The event saw participation from the alumni from PGPX batches too.

Musical event – Gurgaon, October 5 2018 To bring back campus memories at LKP, the Chapter also organized musical evening at the scenic DLF Golf Course in Gurgaon, with performances from various alumni from across the batches. Attended by about 50 alumni, the event was invite-only. The event allowed the alumni to relive the IIMA memories, amidst musical performances from alumni spread across the batches.

Annual Mega Event – Delhi, December 15^th 2018 The chapter also organized its annual mega event in December last year. Organized on December 15^th, this invite-only event has remained the flagship event for the Delhi chapter. Sponsored by IndusInd, and Amplus, the event saw participation from about 220 alumni and their spouses. Held at the lush Margosa lawns at India Habitat Centre, the event saw singing, and poetry performances from among the alumni. It also provided an opportunity to selected start-ups started by IIM A alumni to briefly talk about their work and reach out to the larger alumni body. The gathering also paid a poignant tribute to Late Mr. R Jayaraman (PGP 70) whose contribution to the alumni body, especially in Delhi has been unparalleled. He passed away in November last year.
