Synopsis
Nishant, an educated working professional in his early thirties, is obsessively investigating his late wife’s past, and though afraid of finding the truth, he nevertheless wants to penetrate the circles she frequented. Madam Tureen Maurya, a wealthy marquise and the head of a royal family, wants to keep a close eye on Nishant and invites him to her twice-weekly garden parties. Professor Deb is a respected invitee and has more secrets than any of the rest, an intellectual demagogue who stirs this perfect cauldron. Soon, the tangles of lies within the Maurya clique become the source of Nishant’s miseries. He needs to confront his true nature while choosing between love, family, and the desires of his Ionic Heart.
Can Nishant avoid trampling his conscience while destroying his love? Will he learn the truth he is after? And could he realize the blueprint behind the events that is the design of life-with-a-capital-el?
A story told in the stream of consciousness of the protagonist, the novel is an amalgamation of personal and eternal themes, existing in a space overlapping dreams and reality.
