Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour by the IIMA community. The festivities began with the decoration of Dorm 41 on the new campus in anticipation of Lord Ganesha’s arrival. The community came together to bring in the idol, performing all the necessary rituals for its installation. Throughout the five days of celebration, students and staff engaged in daily aartis held twice a day, showcasing a spirit of togetherness and devotion.
As the celebration drew to a close, the atmosphere shifted to one of reverence during the visarjan ceremony. Students gathered to bid farewell to Lord Ganesh, expressing heartfelt wishes for his swift return next year.
