The Institute has formed various Spl Interest Groups (SIG) to promote interaction amongst alumni groups with common interest. The 1^st SIG event was successfully organised at Mumbai in Feb’18 for Women SIG to build and empower the “IIMA Women Alumni Community”.

In continuation of the above and to sustain the momentum of Women SIG, a networking event (“Chai-pe-Charcha“) was organised to collect ideas and spend time together over tea-snacks with other women alumni.

The event was attended by 10 participants ranging from the batch of 1982 to 2016. All were excited about women SIG and wanted to contribute in various ways. Some of the ideas of interest were to strengthen the interaction and networking, mentorship for younger batches, organise events around successful women alumni, and also explore possibilities of organising casual events like fashion show, stand-up comedy etc. organised by women alumni.
